Hello! Welcome to the CASEing the Catty Sunday blog hop.
I hope your weekend has been wonderful!
Tonight at CTC, the Crew are CASEing their favourite Annual Catalogue Project.
Favourites…. always a hard one! I love almost everything that comes under the Stampin’ Up! banner.
So, for my CASEd projects this week, I decided to choose an alphabet set – the bold & fun Layered Letters stamp set (which is on the retirement list!).
I love alphabet sets for what they offer to personalised stamping!
This Christmas card made by the clever designers at Stampin’ Up! has an awesome layout for lots of different types of cards!
My first card uses the same design features, but more traditional Christmas colours & “Merry Christmas” sentiment.
I’ve used lots more retired things in this set including the Stars Framelits, Lucky Stars Embossing Folder, 2016-2018 In Colour Envelope Paper, Brights DSP Paper Stack and Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set.
My second card uses the same layout to create a birthday card…
I kept some features the same, like the DSP & envelope paper (just changed up the colours) and the metallic enamel shapes.
I changed the star to a butterfly and used another retiring embossing folder – Lovely Lace and stamp set – Tin of Cards.
There’s less than 2 weeks left to purchase from the Retirement List – make sure to check that you’ve ordered everything you’ll miss!
I’m sure you’ll pick up more items for your wishlist as you hop around.
Next up on our CTC Crew is Rachel Palmieri with her awesome projects!
Thanks for hopping with us!

Brilliant cards. I am always inspired by the way you use alphabets on cards Kelly, I tend to only use my alphabet for scrapping or for a totally personalised card that features someone’s name – so thank you for your brilliant inspiration. Awesome CASE.
Absolutely stunning as usual Kelly!!! I may just have to CASE you. I love that alphabet stamp!
What a versatile layout! I’ll be CASEing this one 🙂 I love the layered letters, it’s a shame they are retiring. But I’ll still get lots of use out of them.
I keep most of the retired alphabet stamps – you never know when you’ll need them 🙂
Both of your cards are fabulous, Kelly. Love the bolder colours and pop of red on the Christmas version, but the birthday one is lovely too.
Great CASE Kelly, you are a whizz with alphabets. Love how you have shown two versions of the same layout. I’ll miss that striking polka dot paper!
