Good morning! It’s my birthday today! And I’m so excited to spend it celebrating with you!
Today for Stamp Review Crew we’re creating using the Thoughtful Banner stamp set.
It’s full of amazing teeny tiny sentiment words – perfect for building all kinds of phrases.
I can’t wait to see what the crew comes up with!
Since it’s my birthday, I have created birthday cards!
I’m all about white embossing on coloured cardstock at the moment.
#itsmybirthdayandillmakewhatiwantto
This card was inspired by the colour chart that appears in the new catalogue. I can’t show you the inside pages of the catalogue online yet, so you’ll just have to trust me that it’s amazing – until you can get your hands on a copy.
The clever designers at Stampin’ Up! have put all 50 colours together so they flow through a rainbow of awesomeness.
I can’t show you the catalogue rainbow, but I can show you mine! I left out the neutrals (I’ve never seen a Chocolate Chip rainbow!) and split the remaining 40 colours into 2 halves.
The top half…
And the bottom half…
How pretty is that rainbow?
Projects like this celebrate the joy of having an amazing Stampin’ Up! collection where I am lucky enough to own every colour.
The ‘happy’ and ‘birthday’ dies are cut from the upcoming “Happy Birthday Thinilt”, which will appear in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue, starting 1st June.
I cut it out twice and carefully trimmer the connecting segments for each of the words.
Each card was finished with Glitter Enamel Dots – another new catalogue sneak peek! You are going to love them! Beautiful glitter finish in 4 great colours!
There was a little bit of work involved in this project, but thankfully my creativity is not limited by fussy cutting! Or the need to cut straight!!!
Any guesses what was on my birthday list this year? I’ll give you a clue… it starts with Stamp and ends with Up!
I like to make the challenge of buying birthday presents easy!
And with new products as amazing as the ones on pre-order, who can blame a girl for buying pretty things???
I hope you have a great day! Please continue to be inspired by the crew’s amazing creativity by visiting Betty Traciak.
And for more birthday celebrations, visit my blog again tonight for a special birthday blog hop with my Paper Adventures team.
Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy BIRTHDAY to you Kelly.
I hope you have a really fabulous day.
I seriously LOVE these cards.
Love Donna xx
