CASEing the Catty #127 – Favourite Retiring Product from the Annual Catalogue

How was your weekend???  I had an amazing 48 hours of craft with some of my lovely crafting friends!

Craft retreats are so much fun!  Quality time for you & your craft projects with no kids, no housework and no interruptions!!!

If you’re local, you might be interested in my catalogue launch on 10th June – which is not quite of retreat proportions, but we’ll have lots of fun!

Anyway…. Sunday night means CASEing the Catty and tonight it’s all about our favourite retiring items from the Annual Catalogue.

It’s out with the old and in with the new….  but not before we’ve had a chance for one last play!

I’m playing with the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set.  This has been my go-to ‘splatter’ set for a number of years now and I’m going to miss it!

I’ve just checked the online store – and it’s gone!!!  Which means I wasn’t the only one who loved it!

But, on the upside, there’s still lots of amazing retiring products available.

The layout, colours and design of my card were inspired by the Perpetual Birthday Calendar samples in the catalogue.

It’s mostly the card on the left, with just a little influence from the right.

Other items on the retirement list…

  • Mint Macaron….. oh we’re going to miss it!
  • Washi – all the current washi is retiring, we’re getting new designs!

There’s a little sneaky peek on this card too!

The happy birthday is from a set I’m super excited about – the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set will be available in the new catalogue (from 1st June).

By the time you read this post, this card is already on its way to a special lady who has a birthday this month.  #imbringingbirthdaysback

I think birthday cards are my favourite type to make (when all this creativity boils down, there’s a whole heap of practical in me!).

Do you have a favourite type of card???

Maybe you’d like to CASE a project from the Annual Catalogue that contains your favourite retiring product and share it with us on our Facebook page?

For more amazing creations, keep hopping!  Next up is Rachel Palmieri, who always makes beautiful cards!

Thanks for joining me!

  3. Great card Kelly- mint, crumb cake and white is always a winner! and your layout and cute bow are perfect. Perpetual birthday is one of those sets that I had to have, then didn’t use, then fell in love with again just as it’s retiring! I must be fickle and I wont part with this one. The watercolour splodge is just perfect. Wish I lived in Perth – crafting till midnight sounds a hoot!
good luch wiht your launch- mine is the same day too.

  4. I too am going to miss the Perpetual Birthday Calendar set, so versatile. Love what you have done with it this week.
