Today’s class participants requested that they learn more techniques that they could apply to their card making at home.
We did a range of things including reflection stamping, ‘kissing’ and embossed stamping.
I’ll share them all eventually, but I’ll start with “embossed stamping”.
It’s a whole new way to get use from your embossing folders.
Instead of running them through the Big Shot, you use your ink pad to ink up the inside cover then close it with your cardstock instead. Give it a good press and the embossing folder pattern is inked on your cardstock.
We used the Brick Wall folder – it looked great!
I was so in love with this card, I made a few variations for other occasions.
Mother’s Day…
Anniversary…
Creating in multiples is a great way to build a card stash & make the most of the all the different papers and inks you have.
Which colour combination do you love the most? I think the Mother’s Day blue & yellow stole my heart!
I always have so much fun at classes. If you’re in the Bunbury area and would like to make cards, get in touch with me so we can lock in a date to create!
