Hi! And welcome to an ESAD blog hop where demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand are sharing projects they’ve made that highlight some of the items that are retiring at the end of the current catalogue cycle.
This was a tough hop to design for – the items on the retirement list are selling out fast as people stock up on things they love or buying sets that they know they’ll miss. It means that not everything you see on the hop will be available at the time of you reading this. So be sure to check out what’s still available by visiting the Retiring Products section of my online store.
My plan was not to show you one retiring product, but types or categories of products that are retiring.
The first project I’m sharing features the hearts confetti border punch. Both this pattern and the stars are on the retirement list. I rarely used these as border punches, but loved them for shaker card fill & when I needed teeny tiny little stars or hearts.

The strip of DSP featured on this card is from the DSP Paper Stack. Stampin’ Up! is retiring all the paper stacks in all the colour collections. And they are not replacing them with updated designs as they have in previous years. So, if you want DSP to match the colour collections, you’ll want to get them before they retire (or sell out).
|
Also on the list is all the current sequin trim (to be replaced with a stunning tiny sequin trim!!!) and 2016-2018 In Color Ruched ribbon range.

The butterfly punches & matching stamp sets are also on the retirement list. I am going to miss these – particularly the Bitty Butterfly punch, featured above in Blushing Bride glimmer (because that’s retiring too!).

I’ve used the Potpourri stamp set & Elegant Butterfly punch to decorate the inside of the card, together with some Affectionately Yours washi tape. All the washi tape is on the retirement list – you can see the range still available here.
And finally for this card, the whole 2015-2017 In Color range is retiring including my very favourite Mint Macaron!!! You can find out what’s still left by clicking here.
My second card features Project Life products. Stampin’ Up!’s time as a partner with Becky Higgins has come to an end and this means the end of the Project Life brand within the Stampin’ Up! catalogue.
Stampin’ Up! is replacing this line with a gorgeous new memory keeping collection, which I’ll be sharing more with you when the catalogues launches in June.
This means that all Project Life products are on the retirement list. You can find out what’s still available by clicking here.
I’m really going to miss the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits!!!
I’ve featured a few other retiring items on this card including the Timeless Love stamp set, Sweetheart punch, Bow Clip & Very Vanilla Thick Baker’s Twine.

Although some favourites have sold out, there are still lots left – and many at a great discount!!!
For more retirement list inspiration, and to create a wishlist you never knew you had, please keep moving on the hop, just down the road, to my lovely friend Rachael Lewsley.
If you get lost at any stage of the hop due to broken links, there’s a full list at the bottom of this post.
Thanks for joining us!
