Welcome to the first March Stamp Review Crew blog hop.
The fabulous crew will be dazzling you with beautiful projects made with the Rose Wonder stamp set – and coordinating Rose Garden Framelits.
This stamp set, as you can see by the number of sentiments, lends it’s to so many occasions. It really has something for everyone.
And of course, rose can come in any colour you like.
If you’re travelling around the hop, you might just have come from Twila -isn’t she great?
Make sure to keep hopping til you get back to where you started!
For my SRC project, I’ve use the no-line watercoloring technique to create a yellow rose of sympathy.
It’s a little oversized for the jar – but I love it as a statement piece!
I’ve tried no-line watercolouring before, but felt like I was little better at it this time around.
Though, as you can see, there’s still room for improvement!!!
Using watercolour paper definitely helps.
I decorated the inside of the card with a framelit from the Rose Garden set and some of the DSP I used on the front.
I certainly am enjoying my self imposed challenge to pay more attention to the insides of my cards.
I also using Mint Macaron as much as I can in the few months until it retires.
If this is one of your favourite colours too, be sure to stock up before it goes!!!
I know you’re going to love what Heidi has made using the Rose Wonder bundle – she’s always so inspirational!
The SRC posts are all scheduled to go live at the same time, but there’s sometimes a mishap or 2 along the way.
Please be patient with us as we sort out the kinks in the first couple of moments. At some point the day of the hop, the Stamp Review Crew main post will also go live. Check back here for the full line up.
Thanks for joining us – isn’t it fun travelling around the world from your computer or phone!?!
