This challenge is going to be a fun one – I can tell!!!
Why you ask? Because I had fun making my design team card!
The theme this week for Just Add Ink is ombre – suggested by Rochelle.
Ombre is the gradual blending of one colour to another or going from a light shade to a dark shade.
It’s a lovely way to add texture to a card or project and a great way to get the most out of your Stampin’ Up! colours!
Stampin’ Up! reinvented their brayer for this annual catalogue and rather than the traditional hard rubber brayer, you can now buy beautiful soft spongy brayers that roll like a dream!
They are perfect for an ombre background – like this one in Watermelon Wonder on the loved up anniversary card I made for my parents.
38 years married deserves a pretty card and a whole lot of love!!!
Can you spot the trio of ombre?
I’ve used a brayer ombre background, beautiful ombre ribbon from the Cupcakes & Carousel Embellishment Kit and picked an ombre colour pallette for my love letters.
Everything was finished off with a very liberal application of Wink of Stella to make it all sparkle!!!
We’d love to see you join us this week at JAI with your ombre creations.
Upload them to the Just Add Ink blog.
You can also check out the design team posts by visiting the blog.
Thanks for joining me again!
