Happy Sunday & welcome to the CASEing the Catty Sunday blog hop.
Each week a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand create projects that are inspired by selected pages from a current Stampin’ Up! catalogue.
It may be a colour scheme, embellishment feature, layout, design or product use that catches our attention.
Today we’re CASEing the first section of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.
This includes the Avant Garden stamp set and Carried Away Designer Series Paper.
Both of these products are great – and free with any $90 purchase ($110 in NZ). There’s no limits, so you can earn the whole catalogue if you’ve got a big wishlist!!!
I’m currently getting lots of use from the Carried Away DSP and matching Lift Me Up bundle.
My project today was a birthday card that matched the styling of the scrapbook page on page 6.
I loved the layout and it came at perfect time to create a birthday card for a work colleague whose name would fit beautifully on the front.
I do love a personalised card!!!
I replicated the balloons as a background feature and carried over the large letters for her name.
The scrapbook page used the medium size balloon – I used the smallest size.
How awesome that the dies come in multiple sizes – perfect for every project!!
One of the things I love most about this project is the added little details on many of the balloons!
All but one of the balloon as are die cut except one – which is heat embossed. What a cool touch! The SU! designers are so clever!
Of course, because it was her birthday, I needed a birthday stamp too!
For this card I used one from the Tasty Trucks stamp set – which is also a Sale-A-Bration reward.
That’s all from me today. Next up on the hop is the ever delightful Kathryn –

Can’t wait to see what you create!
