On Saturday, I hosted 8 lovely ladies for a Christmas Stamp-A-Stack.
What is a Stamp-A-Stack? Typically, it’s a chance to make cards in bulk. The card designs are a little simpler, but you walk away with more.
For this reason, they are perfect for Christmas where people often send cards in larger numbers.
When planning my S-A-S, I decided we were going to make 12 cards – 4 each of 3 designs.
The ad went out, and not only did I fill the class I’d advertised, but I filled another one as well!!!
Now, despite knowing that the cards needed to be stripped back a little so we could get through them in the class time, I’m not so good at simple and just love to spoil my class participants with interesting cards.
So, even though I promised 4 cards of 3 designs, I actually ended up making 2 variations of each design so we actually had 2 each of 6 designs in the end.
So, here’s what I ended up thinking of as my the deluxe S-A-S of 2016!!!
Card 1 – a variation of my shrink reindeer CTC swap from OnStage
Card 2 – a silver & purple variation of the card above!
Card 3 – peekaboo tree card using Build A Birthday
Card 4 – peekaboo tree card using Warmth & Cheer washi tape
Card 5 – stitched card using Letters for You stamps
Card 6 – stitched card using Merry Tags bauble & Large Letters
The ladies loved the cards and were just fantastic at getting through all my ‘deluxe’ designs within the class time!
I helped them a little by doing some of the elements before the class (like the cute little reindeers) so there wasn’t too much wait time.
Do you have a favourite from the stack of cards? I think mine is one of the stitched letter cards – maybe the JOY?!
I know they’ll all come in handy when it’s time to start sending cards. How’s your stash looking?
If you need more supplies, don’t forget my November promotion. All online orders using the host code TGEH7KV6 during November will go in the draw for $100 of Stampin’ Up! products.
Happy shopping!
