Hello! I’m writing to you today from the East Coast!!!
That’s right – we’re living it up in Brisbane on a stamping/family holiday!!! I LOVE Brisbane & could happily live here!!!
This week for CTC, we’re sharing creations inspired by the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) stamp set.
Stampin’ Up! is a long time supporter of RMHC and every year they have a dedicated charity set, where $3 of sales profits go to RMHC.
This year it’s called “My Hero” and you can find it on the inside back cover page (pg 209) of the Annual Catalogue.
It’s an all occasions stamp set with a great variety!!!
Here’s the catalogue samples – not many this week, so I can’t wait to see how the crew each put their own spin it!
I’ve chosen to re-imagine the ‘under the weather’ umbrella card as a get well gift.
It fits a packet of tissues & small sanitiser – just in time for all those spring sniffles!
It took me a few trial runs to get the measurements right, but here they are!
Click on the picture to make it bigger.
- Cut a piece of cardstock to 8″ x 8″
- Along one side, score at 2-1/4″, 3-3/4″, 6″ & 7-1/2″
- Along the other side, score at 3-1/4″ (but don’t go past the left score line), 6″ & 7-1/2″
- Cut away the unneeded pieces as per the shading on the diagram & make tabs where indicated
- Fold into a box shape & adhere the tabs to the inside of the box.
- Decorate as desired & fill.
PS, the 3-1/4″ marking on the left panel of the instructions may be slightly confusing (whoops!). This reflects where the score line goes. The actual panel measures 6″ in height. You can make this smaller if you want to to line up with the top of the tissues.
