Good evening & welcome to blog hop #2 – CASEing the Catty!

It’s all about the Holiday Catalgoue again with design team members CASEing projects inspired by the Candy Cane Lane suite (pages 4-7).

The tags on page 4 were the perfect CASE inspiration.

I used each of the 6 paper designs in the Candy Cane Lane DSP & added the circle centrepiece with sentiments from the Merriest Wishes stamp set (page 21).

2 of each gave me a set of 12 pretty tags.  They were finished off with the red Candy Cane Lane Baker’s Twine.

This project was particularly inspiring, because I’ve been wanting to make a set of gift tags, packaged in the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes ever since I saw Marisa’s Artisan Design Team post using them in this way.

So cute!!!

And the catalogue inspiration doesn’t stop there – I also used the main Candy Cane Lane samples for the finishing touches on my box – red band & pretty bow!

This is a great way to package up a little set of gifts.  They are cute & tiny, just like the box!

The box measures 2″ square, so my tags are 1-3/4″ with 1-1/2″ & 1-1/4″ circles.

If you love these ones, then you’ll also love the white boxes in the Holiday Catalogue (page 7).

So many great ideas for things you can put inside from lollies & chocolate to cupcakes and of course tags or mini cards!

We’d love for you to share your Candy Cane Lane creations with us – enter here!

  1. Oh WOW, Kelly. Your little box of tags is too cute for words! It would make such a great gift too…if you could ever part with it (I know I couldn’t)!

  2. Great project! For the mini cards….do you have white CS on the back to write to and from (also to hide the ends of the baker’s twine). Probably a silly question….
