Good evening!  Excited to take you on another CASEing the Catty blog hop!

This week we’re sharing ideas from the Artistic Expressions section of the catalogue – pages 92 – 157.

I went flicking this week for a few birthday gifts that were on my to-do list for friends.  And this caught my eye…

Butterflies are always such a lovely addition to gift packaging!

I love this design but I seemed to have used all my Fabulous Foil Acetate on previous CTC projects – time for another order I think!!!

So, I’ve used the catalogue sample to inspire my elements – banner, butterfly, cute clip!

My gift using a Petite Cafe Bag – I {LOVE} these for gift giving.  They are a wonderful size, great crispness so they stand up tall and a cool fold down top.

And of course a matching card…

With a decorated inside (whoa there…!)

I always love a good project set!!!!  I’m also loving all things metallic at the moment!

With Christmas (and if you’re me, endless birthdays) coming up you might like to add some of the Petite Cafe Bags to your next order.  Add some clips too then all you have to do is stick a couple of banners together, add a pretty embellishment (like a butterfly, flower, star, swirl, doily) and you’ve got a sweet gift ready to go!

If you live in Australia, the cafe bags are just $10.50 for 10 bags – which means about $1 each!!!  We all know how expensive gift bags are – even at the ‘cheap’ store, so that’s great value!

My cafe bag is filled with pretties from the Body Shop, but they are food safe, so you can also put home baked (or ‘procured’) biscuits or chocolates in there too.

I hope I’ve been able to inspire some ideas for gifts you  might have on your list.

Next up on the hop is Kathryn Mangelsdorf – wait til you see the “wild” project that she’s created!  Make sure you hop all the way around until you see our guest designer Joanna Wiggs.  I’m loving having new designers join our hop each week.

  1. Thank you so much for my birthday card and present. They were a lovely surprise, the body shop goodies smell divine and I do love the blue butterflies.

  2. What a great CASE, Kelly. Your gift bag & card look super sweet & pretty together. I agree this would be a perfect set for Christmas too.
