Cards That Keep Giving – DIY Colouring Cards

How would you feel about giving a card to someone that needs finishing???

Sounds crazy, but these black & white creations complete with pencils make an awesome card & gift all in one!

I’ve made this type of card before and as I prepare for a market next month, I am revisiting some ideas that I think will be fun for people to browse through (and buy!).

The fairy was my first inspiration…

And then I added the Barnyard Babies to the range…

And decided that kids shouldn’t have all the fun, so I made this Garden in Bloom bouquet…

This style of card will work for any stamped images that have solid outlines and lend themselves to colouring!

And if you hate colouring – then this is inspired, because the recipient is going to do it for you!!!

PS, I added one more card to the range today – it tickles my sense of humour … but that might just be me!

  1. I think that this is one of the most brilliant ideas that I have seen in a very long time. Not only for kids cards but also for someone who may be under the weather or for someone who likes to do crafts etc. Just brilliant.

    1. Thanks Mary Ann. So far all the colouring cards I’ve made have been birthday or Christmas – but you’ve inspired me to make some thinking of you & get better ones. Thanks so much! Kelly x
