Good evening! Thanks for joining me for another CASEing the Catty blog hop. I’m still super excited to be a part of the fun and hope you’re enjoying the regular inspiration trips we’re going on each week.
For me, it’s a great way to see products I own in a different light and get ideas for card layouts. Plus, as I travel around the hop, I love soaking up the tips and tricks from seasoned demonstrators that help me to get the most out of my stamping supplies.
Today were revisiting the Everyday Occasions section of the catalogue – because there’s so much choice!
Last hop I CASEd the sweet & starry card from page 91.
This time, it’s the foxy box on the previous page (pg 90). How cute is it???
I decided to transform this box into a baby card.
At first I thought the fox was stamped but when I realised the proportions were way out I went hunting through the paper stack and found the little fox just needed some fussy cutting! I am totally in love with the “A Little Foxy DSP”.
And he came in three colours – which inspired a trio of baby cards.
For a new little man…
And a neutral baby favourite – yellow & gray…
Here are all three colour combinations side by side – click on the photo to make it bigger.
Changing the colours of a catalogue inspired card (or Pinterest found card) is a great way to add your own spin on the original design.
Don’t forget that if you’d like to join us in CASEing something from the catty (it really is as easy as it looks), then please do so! Click on the link below to add your project!
Next stop on today’s hop is Deb Speijers, who has a great card to share.
Make sure to keep hopping – you won’t want to miss any of this fabulous inspiration!
If you get lost at any point along the way, head back to the main page for a full list of participants.

Aw your cards are just super cute. I love all the colours. All those little details of the sequin trim and the circle framelits and the DSP make thus card design really fabulous!
Thanks Julia!
beautiful trio Kelly. I used to shy away from fussy cutting anything but it really is quite therapeutic!! and just so effective. We are lucky that Su makes so many papers that have such cute images to use. You have done a great job here.
Thanks Liz. I love a good fussy cut! And DSP is my absolute Stampin’ Up! weakness! I swore I wasn’t going to buy every pack this year and I’m three packs off doing just that! And then there’s more coming next week!!!
Kelly what a trio of super cute cards. Love all three colour choices and that little fox just adds the final touch! Great fussy cutting!
Thanks Deb!
Love these cards kelly, I am not a fan of this set but do like the way you have used the paper.
Thanks Rosalie!
Oh three cute cards!! Don’t you just love Foxy? And what is it about rounded corners that makes my heart happy!!
It’s the little touches sometimes I think Bec!
