Can you believe it’s the end of the weekend already??? But, that means it’s time for another CASEing the Catty blog hop.
Every Sunday night at 7pm (AEST), the CTC Crew will share lots of great ideas with you from the latest Stampin’ Up! Catalogue. They will either directly CASE (Copy and Share Everything) or use a sketch/layout, colour combo, embellishment, to name a few examples, as a springboard for their own creations.
This week, the Crew are sharing ideas inspired by the Artistic Expressions section of the Annual Catalogue (pages 92-157). This section is huge, so we’re going to see lots of amazing designs.
I am showcasing the layouts you see in this picture from page 129, but using other stamp sets from the catalogue. I also changed up the colour combinations.
For my CASE of the top photo I used the hostess stamp set “Gift of Love” (page 201).
And for the bottom photo I used the Wetlands stamp set from page 133. I just love this stamp set – it’s easily one of my all-time favourites.
Doesn’t it look stunning against the water scene from the Serene Scenery DSP???
I know we all love Pinterest, but the samples in your catalogue are a fabulous way to make the most of your Stampin’ Up! purchases! We are lucky to have such a great publication at our finger tips!!!
Next up to share their creative genius is Julia Quinn or you can hop backwards to Deb Speijers and her fabulous catalogue inspired creations.
Every month CTC welcomes your catalogue inspired project.

And that’s all from me on this chilly Sunday night! Thanks for visiting & enjoy the rest of the hop!

Kelly these are just lovely. You are making it harder for me to not put Wetlands on my next order, it goes so well with this DSP.
Thanks Monique! PS, how do you not own Wetlands yet??? It’s my favourite stamp set!
Both are beautiful samples Kelly, that DSP stack is on my next order- such lovely soft feel -goes perfectly with the Wetlands set.
Thank Liz. If you’ll believe it, it’s even more beautiful in real life!
I have to say your gift of love card is so pretty with the colour block background. I didn’t even notice it in the catty, but your card really makes it pop. OMG, that wetlands card is simply stunning!
Thanks Tricia!
I love how you have changed the stamps sets but kept the same layouts, great idea and great cards Kelly.
Thanks Deb!
Lovely work Kelly! Love the sentiment and feminine take on the first card, and I think your second CASE beats the original by a mile. Fantastic & inspiring use of the serene scenery DSP, it just gives the card extra dimension and warmth.
Thanks Krissy!
I love that with our blog, we see the projects in the catalogue in different ways – your cards are gorgeous and I totally love the burlap and linen thread detail – something I’d never noticed in the Catty!! Your cards are both wonderful, but I really love the wetlands on the DSP – this looks amazing!!
Thanks Julia. I {LOVE} burlap & linen thread!
Wow! Your stamp set choices with the layouts have turned out beautifully. Great ‘CASES’.
Thanks Bronwyn!
Love seeing the sketches done with different stamps and colour schemes, just opens up a whole new range of possibilities. Beautiful, inspiring cards.
Thanks Rachel!
Both cards are gorgeous, but I love the Wetlands one. The DSP is looks so perfect for your duck!!
Thanks Bec! That’s my favourite too. But I love the Wetlands stamp set!!!
