I loved the pace at the Craft Retreat on the weekend. No deadlines, no pressure and no distractions! I was free to make whatever my heart desired.
With this beautiful collection of ladies….
Since the new catalogue went live, I’ve been collecting beautiful pins on my Pinterest board for a rainy day.
Well, the weather cooperated and Saturday was the perfect rainy day for card making (we felt sorry for all the soccer mums & dads standing out in the rain!!!!).
The rain also brought one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen. When it rained – it rained all the way around the house. When a light shower came through, it only rained on one side (ie, rain was only visible through the windows on the north side of the house, and completely clear on the south side). Amazing – but strange!!!
Anyway, Saturday was the perfect day to “CASE” (copy and share everything) or “scraplift” some of the creations I’ve been coveting on Pinterest.
CASEing is a great way to make cards easily. Someone has already done the design work for you including great colours, good spacing and fun features.
These are my ‘inspired’ creations (with credit below each design – click on the designer’s name to see the original).
Original by Inge Groot.

Original by Kay Kalthoff
Original by a great designer – but I can’t find the photo on Pinterest!!!
If you can help me to find the original card I loved so much I copied it, please leave me a comment!
Hi Kelly…… love them all. You’ve been very productive!
Thanks Anne – it was great chicken soup for the soul!
Thanks for CASEing my card… which I CASEd from someone else! LOL! I like your version too! Thanks for mentioning me. 🙂
Your card was inspired – definitely an original, not a CASE. I loved it!
