The Stylized Birthday stamp was an instant love for me when I saw the new catalogue. Sometimes you just need a BIG birthday stamp right in the middle of the white space!
It says it all really and that font is oh so pretty! We know I’m a font nerd!
As I was making this card, I realised that often the same card design has so many options for how it can be put together. This is never more apparent than in a card class where I pre-cut the pieces and participants shape their own creation & add their own touch by changing placement, layout & style….
Turn a piece of cardstock to the diagonal and the card has a whole different look.
Flip the DSP over & the style is different.
Move the pieces around and the layout changes.
Individualisation and creative opportunities are some of the things I love most about handmade designs. No 2 are ever the same (even if you intended for them to be)! And why would you want them to be? That’s what printed & machine generated cards are for.
We have the personal touch. Embrace the differences in your cards and play with the pieces. The change might delight you! Kelly x
PS, this card was for my upline’s birthday. Which design do you think I sent???

I’m thinking you sent design 2? It is great what you can learn from teaching a class isn’t it?
Smart lady Rachel – I did indeed!
