Project Life – Buying the Cards to Make Cards

I tried really hard to give Project Life a go.  As it turns out, I’m really bad at anything that involves keeping records!  I’ve never been able to write a journal for more than 2 days, I buy beautiful diaries every year only to start strong in Jan and then fade out by March and my beautiful kids don’t have baby books.

But, I still buy Project Life cards – why???

Because they are wonderful for card making!  They add a whole extra element of pattern, colour or style to the materials I already have.  And I know the PL sets will match the cardstock and ink that’s already in my collection.

Whether you want to try Project Life for memory keeping or if you are looking at quick & easy ways to design cards, you should stop by the Global Design Project this week.  It’s all about Project Life and the inspiration is amazing!!!

Project versatility is one of the greatest things about Stampin’ Up!.  Each Project Life card collection comes with 100 cards across 3 sizes – which means you can switch up how you use them or use them in layers.  And even though the baby sets have a baby focus, not every card in the box is an obvious baby choice – so you can make all sorts of cards with your stash.

These are 3 cards I make using the Hello Baby Boy & Girl collections.  Two traditional baby & one ‘any occasion’ card…

If you’re better at keeping memories in hard copy than me, then you should have a go at Project Life.

If you just like pretty things (like me) – then buy a set of cards and get crafting!!!  Kelly x

PS, I haven’t shown it here, but the 3″ x 4″ cards making amazing (quick & easy) gift tags.
