My favourite colours! JAI#307

Just Add Ink has delighted us this week with a colour challenge that includes one of my favourite colour combinations – yellow, grey & white.  It’s so classic and timeless and lends itself to so many occasions.

I’m actually not sure what occasion this card would be best suited to.  Baby? Get well?  Just because?  Thanks?  It could be any of those!  Everyone loves elephants – right?

I love elephants!  Especially shimmery yellow ones!

  1. Kelly, very clever use of those colours….. I looked at the colour challenge and thought “what could you ever do with that?”
Well…….i’m completely surprised that it could be so effective.

  2. A cute and fun card Kelly! Love the repeated stamping of the elephant and then the one yellow one that pops off the page. Love the white card base and then the layerin of the grey tones. Gorgeous card. Thanks for playing along this week at Just Add Ink. Rochelle.

  3. Yellow is my 2 1/2 year old grandson’s favorite color! This will be the perfect card for him to receive in the mail, telling him how much PawPaw and Mrama miss him. Thanks for the inspiration!!

  4. Oh I LOVE this, Kelly. The repeated pattern is fantastic & you’ve used the colours so well…& for a baby card too. Glad to see Stella saying hi too. She’s so lovely.
    Thanks for playing along again.
