I am so absolutely excited to share the news with you, that I have been invited to join the Stamp Review Crew!
This talented group of international designers posts twice a month – highlighting a different Stampin’ Up! stamp set in each blog hop that takes you around the world with endless inspiration!
Thanks to the team for having me on board! You can find a full crew list to the right.
For my first stamp review, the chosen set was Made With Love – which is a gorgeous baby set from the Annual Catalogue.
When I saw that this was the set, I was delighted – because I am currently organising a baby shower for one of my besties. I have bought her a couple of cute little baby presents, but I thought she might also appreciate a set of thank you cards to give to her friends and family over the coming months.
With a bit of sponging, some shimmery white cardstock, cute little animals and a lot of fussy cutting – I created this little “Made With Love” notecard holder.
The cute little notecard holder has been my go-to present for the last couple of months in various different designs. It’s so simple & elegant and the perfect size!
Thanks to Caroline Helwigh Wright for the notcard holder measurements. You can find them here.
This is the front…
What’s inside? So glad you asked…
There are 2 each of 4 notecard designs, each featuring a different Made With Love animal on an ombre background.
The background was sponged using a piece of cardstock with a 2″ circle punched out to create a template. With my sponge daubers, I applied my three colours – the top colour is Pool Party, then Bermuda Bay, then Lost Lagoon. I love the mottled effect of using multiple ink colours.
And with my blender pen, I added a dash of colour to each of the animals. I love that you can use all your colour tools with only your ink pads – no extra supplied needed!
While I was on a roll with my sponging & fussy cutting, I also made her a card to put away for when the baby is born. Things that match make my heart sing!
Well, that ended up being very photo heavy! I may have been a little enthusiastic when I was snapping away {a wee bit excited!}.
The next blog to visit is another new crew member – Holly Stene. Wait til you see what she’s done with the Made With Love stamp set!
Until next time, Kelly x
