Just Add Numbers… Or Not!

The challenge over at Just Add Ink #301 this week is to add numbers.

The Large Numbers bundle makes this challenge a piece of cake – they are just so easy to use!

But, to complicate matters, and to mix things up a little (I’ve done quite a few cards with numbers of late), I have decided to take the numbers away – and use the negative as my centrepiece.

So, this is my challenge card – Just Take Away the Numbers…

Just Add Ink #301 - Numbers. Large Numbers negative card with Number of Years stamp set & Pretty Petals Paper stack. Kelly Kent - mypapercraftjourney.com.

I think no numbers is just as good as adding numbers.  Do you think so too?  Kelly x

  1. I love your idea of using the negative Kelly – the numbers look so striking with that intense flower DSP peeping through. Thanks for joining us for our number challenge at Just Add Ink this week.

    1. Thanks Kim. I can never resist a twist on a challenge. I’m the girl who turns the sketch, finds the obscure part of the picture or ‘doesn’t use numbers’!

  2. I love how yve used the negative die cut Kelly! Your colour combo of Mint and Crumbcake really makes the bold colours of the numbers pop. Thanks for joining with us again at Just Add Ink this week. And also thank you so much for the beautiful card that arrived on Monday – totally gorgeous colouring and so lovely of you! xx

  3. Great card, Kelly. Love the pop of colour from the negative numbers (I hadn’t realised I’d ‘not added numbers’ too so I think it definitely counts 😉 ) & the sentiment adds a lovely touch. It’s a great layout for lots of people & occasions. Thanks for sharing it a JAI. Di
