I’m sneaking in an extra late-night post today so that I can show you my card for the Just Add Ink Nature challenge.
Stampin’ Up! has a love of all things nature – flowers, animals, outdoor scenes. There was actually too much choice – and that was just from the new Occasions catalogue!
I ended up deciding on the beautiful flower from the Birthday Blooms stamp set because I haven’t yet had a chance to ink it up yet & colour it in!
I used my blender pens & the ink from my ink pads to colour the flower, taking my colour palette from the Birthday Bouquet DSP. And, {it’s not my fault}, but I’m unable to add a flower to a card at the moment without brushing it over with my clear Wink of Stella pen.
It’s so sparkly & pretty!!! Although my liberal use isn’t quite like raindrops on the petals, I love the ‘misty’ feel it adds.
I’m thinking of using this stamp set in my upcoming classes – what do you think ladies? Kelly x

Yes Kelly…it is a gorgeous gorgeous stamp. I’m having a lot of fun with it. I have been stamping it on to watercolour paper and painting it using the water pen and stamp ink. It would make a great class project
Thanks Anne!
I love the soft pastel colours against the crumb cake background Kelly and a little or a lot 😉 of sparkle never goes astray either. You’re not the only one finding it hard to resist using the wink of stella pen! Thanks for joining us again at Just Add Ink this week.
Thanks Kim!
