Technique Testing – JAI 277

This week at Just Add Ink it’s a colour combination.  How gorgeous is this …

Perfect soft spring colours.  And with spring on its way to us in the southern hemisphere in a mere 2 more sleeps, it’s a good pre-amble.  I’m ready for some spring weather!

This is my JAI card using the colour combination with some easy but effective techniques.


To get this colourful effect, I masked 2″ of the card front using photocopy paper so the ink didn’t go there.  Then I stamped Vintage Leaves in Versamark and heat embossed it in clear.  And to finish it off I sponged the card front with Mint Macaron, So Saffron & Calypso Coral.  Once I removed the paper mask, it left a ‘white space’ for my bright & bold sentiment (from Happy Birthday, Everyone).
