Tin of Cards – The “B” version

Yesterday’s Tin of Cards class was great fun!  The “tin” is the clear winner in this super cute set, but the contents are lovely also.  You get materials to make 9 dividers and 16 cards with a full set of instructions.  You can see the Stampin’ Up! video here for more information about how to put together your cards.

Call me crazy, but I wanted a bit more of a challenge from my tin, so I played around with the pieces to come up with some alternative designs to the ones available in the instructions.

With the exception of a few pearls (I couldn’t help myself – the butterflies needed the extra bling!), all cards are made using only the materials in the kit and the recommended extras.

Here they are:

16 different cards made – using only the kit & recommended extra items.  {Did I mention you get envelopes too?}.  I even ended up with a few extra pieces which I can use when making other cards.

The popularity of this kit has far exceeded Stampin’ Up!’s expectations and you can see why – the cards you can create are gorgeous, it caters to everyone’s level of stamping and it’s lots of fun.

I plan to run this class again later in the year.  If you’re interested in joining me, please let me know.  Or, if you’d like to get started on your Tin of Cards kit now, hop over to my online store and order the kit & stamp set (links below).

It’s a fabulous item to add to your own collection or would make a very special gift for a very special friend.  I know lots of people who would love to receive a Tin of Cards.  Shame that I love mine so much I’m keeping it!!!  Kelly x
