Just Got Cuter .. JAI269 & FMS193

These challenge posts seem to come around so quickly!!!

This week at Just Add Ink they have one of my favourite colour combinations – brown & blue.

And I think I’m sneaking in just in time for the Freshly Made Sketch:

I used the colour combo & sketch to create a blue themed baby card.  I love this stamp set … with it, the world just got cuter!

But, I actually need a baby girl card, so made this matching purple version.  It actually felt quite liberating to make a card for a baby girl that wasn’t pink!!!

I am totally loving the new DSP prints!  And trying really hard to use & enjoy them, not just ‘own’ them.  Anyone else have this problem?  Kelly x

  1. I love your simple patterns, and the shape you have used is a great addition to the sketch! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  2. Hahahaha I’m guilty of ‘owning’ lots of beautiful papers and not using them nearly often enough so you’re not alone there. Love your baby cards, Kelly – and yes I imagine it was quite liberating making a purple baby girl card. Love the little twine bows. Thanks for using our gorgeous colours over at Just Add Ink this week, and sharing your creations with us. x

  4. Super-cute, Kelly. I love your choices of patterned paper, and the balance of colour on your delightful card. Thanks for joining in the fun at Just Add Ink; I always enjoy seeing what you’ve created. 🙂
