Project Life Christmas – My Way!

I still haven’t managed to start a Project Life album.  The very harsh reality is that I’m not really a journaller or memory keeper.  My girls don’t have baby books with first steps, first words etc., the hairdresser had to ask me if I wanted to keep some hair for Alexa’s first haircut (Maddie hasn’t had one yet!)… you get the picture!

But I love the Project Life cards, so I still buy them.  This Christmas I wanted to use them for capturing stand alone memories.  Using the 6×8″ Pocket Pages, I created a calendar that goes on the fridge.  Because of the pocket style of the page protector, the photos can be interchanged throughout the year.  The Hello December Card Collection made it quick & easy to slot the cards in, add photos & pop in a small calendar.  A small magnet on the back makes it attach to the fridge (or if you work in an old school office, the metal filing cabinet!).

A present wouldn’t be the perfect Stampin’ Up! present without a matching card – so back to the Project Life cards to whip up a cute Christmas card to go with it.  Maybe one day I’ll have a sentiment pang & get onto full swing Project Life, but until then, I’m loving using the cards in other ways.  Kelly x
