That One Stamp … The Other Stamp Challenge

There’s always one stamp in a stamp set that draws you in.  If it’s a great stamp set, you’ll fall in love with the other ones.  But there’s always that one.  Occasionally, I buy stamp sets for just one stamp.  Or, keep a retired stamp set because I can’t part with that one stamp…

A Happy Hooray from the Annual Catalogue was one of those stamp sets for me.  It was the feather – I had to have it – so I indulgently purchased the whole stamp set, just for one lovely feather!

But, I decided to set myself a challenge – make a card without using the feather and inking up some stamps that might not otherwise see the Stampin’ Scrub.  And what do you know … the other stamps are beautiful too!

If you hit the craft table this weekend – take the ‘other stamp’ challenge.  Find your favourite set, put ‘that one stamp’ back into the case and use one of it’s companions.  The results may just be surprising.  Kelly x
